AuthHive
Centralised authentication for multiple applications
A standalone authentication service built with Node.js and Hapi.js, providing secure authentication, session management, and single sign-on across connected applications.
01
The challenge
Managing authentication independently across applications creates duplicated logic, inconsistent sessions, and security vulnerabilities that are difficult to maintain.
02
The approach
I developed a centralised authentication service using Hapi.js, JWT access tokens, refresh-token rotation, Redis session management, PostgreSQL, and endpoint-level rate limiting.
03
The outcome
A reusable authentication infrastructure that gives connected applications a consistent login experience and centralised security management.
